In the past, Valentine’s Day is a holiday that has always provided both Jordan Brand and Nike with a compelling and riveting opportunity to dress up their signature kicks in the theme of the occasion. Over the years, Jordan Brand has introduced numerous Valentine’s Day-inspired sneakers. However, it was Nike that set the trend of dropping Valentine’s Day shoes every year, especially special colorways of their models like the Air Force 1, Air Max and Dunk Low. Eventually the Jumpman also joined in and so, Jordanheads can once again prepare for this year’s Valentine Jordans 2016.
So, the first and most likely sneaker from Jordan Brand that appears to be Valentine’s Day-themed is the “Dynamic Pink” colorway of the Air Jordan 12. This GS-sized iteration of the twelfth Air Jordan is unofficially also being referred to as the “Valentine’s Day” rendition. This could very well possibly be the case, especially since the Jordan release 2016 of the sneaker is scheduled to take place on February 6th, 2016, almost eight days before Valentine’s Day. So, male Jordanheads will have plenty of time to grab a pair as a gift for their potential Valentine, whether it is a young girl or a small-footed woman.
While the connection mentioned above is not official, there are several other sneakers that can also be considered this year’s Valentine Jordans 2016. For instance, Jordan Brand recently whipped up two new colorways of the Air Jordan 1 exclusively for the ladies. Both sneakers are dressed up in Black and Pink, both opposites of each other, one with a predominantly Black upper and Pink accents and the other with a predominantly Pink upper and Black accents. This suggests that these too could be Valentine’s Day sneakers. Although select retailers already have them up for grabs, these could also likely hit the shelves properly in February.
So far, Jordan Brand has not dropped any official hints about other Valentine Jordans 2016 but there are several other Air Jordan sneakers that arrive at retailers before February 14th. These include the “Shadow” Jordan 1 Retro KO High OG, the “Alternate ’87” Jordan 2 Retro, “Red Ghost Green” Spike 40, the “’89 White Cement” Jordan 4 Retro, the “Red Black” Jordan 1 Retro Low OG, and even the Air Jordan 30. While all of them are not official Valentine’s Day sneakers from Jordan Brand, sneakerheads can still look forward to their Jordan release 2016 next month.
