From the looks of it, this latest colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Mid appears to be borrowing from a classic iteration worn by Michael Jordan. As of this year, Jordan Brand seems of have released numerous Air Jordan 1 Mid colorways, even special ones like the “Equality” colorway for Black History Month. Last month, the Air Jordan 1 Mid was even transformed into football cleats. Another iteration featuring uppers covered in “Jordan” and “Jumpman” prints was also unveiled, while more recent releases include the “Taxi Yellow” and the “Maybe I Destroyed The Game” colorways. The iteration seen here though somewhat resembles an iconic Air Jordan 1 High colorway.
It seems that several different colorways of the Air Jordan 1 Mid will be joining the Air Jordan releases 2019 arriving in the coming months. Recently, you may have come across photos of an Air Jordan 1 Mid with “Jordan” and “Jumpman” text printed all over its uppers. The ones you see above are both GS colorways. The first one is actually from a “Topaz” Pack, which includes an Air Jordan 1 Low dressed up in the same color blocking and color scheme. The other one is the Air Jordan 1 Mid GS “Metallic Silver.” Both of these colorways will eventually be available at select retailers and on Nike.com.
Jordan Brand‘s Holiday Season collection of Air Jordan releases 2018 includes another colorway that was not unveiled previously. Jordan Brand unveiled the 2018 Holiday Season collection quite recently, during the first week of October. The highlights of the collection are the multiple colorways of the Air Jordan 33. The collection also includes Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Rookie Of The Year,” the returning Air Jordan 18 “Black/Sport Royal,” and the Air Jordan 11 “Platinum Tint,” among many others. While not exactly a part of the collection, it seems a brand new, festive-themed Air Jordan 1 Mid GS colorway will be debuting during the 2018 Holiday Season.
