Back in Fall 2009, the latest from Jordan Brand’s under Air Jordan 1 lineup had been the Hi Strap Edition, which became known as the Air Jordan 1 Hi Strap. Jordan Brand had certainly come up with a number of releases in quick successions to add to its Air Jordan series, but that had not meant that it was compromising on design or quality. Each one of its latest release of that time had been unique and had something new to offer. Same is the case with the brand new Air Jordan 1 High OG featured here, which appears to be some kind of a unique variation.
Fall 2009’s Air Jordan 1 High Strap releases included color schemes boasting a sweet set of colors consisting of Black and Blue. The upper was a cool mix of these colors, and the design of the upper is a cool one, too. The front featured black, the mid and ankle had blue and black accents. The blue color was also visible on the tongue flap and the sole. The sole of these kicks had a gum construction, and the overall look of the shoe is a cool and sporty one, giving the sneaker lovers something to show off. The side panels of the shoe had the classic Nike Swoosh with a set of black stitched lines.
The unique Air Jordan 1 High OG version featured here, judging from the photos shared by Instagram user @realwop, appears to be more ominous due to the absence of vibrant hues. Its uppers appear to be made up of leather, which are not only completely dressed up in Black but also appear to be covered entirely in a dotted pattern, which may actually be tiny perforations. The toe boxes also appear to be sporting a wrinkly texture. Apparently, this rendition is also equipped with mesh tongues, each bearing the “Nike Air” logo. Sneakerheads are probably intrigued about this peculiar looking version of the Air Jordan 1 High OG, which will reported be among Jordan releases 2017.
