The release of Chris Paul’s latest signature sneaker has yet to arrive. The model will obviously be released after the Jordan release dates of the Air Jordan XX9, which is associated with Russell Westbrook, and the Super.Fly III, which is associated with Blake Griffin. Even though they are not really signature pairs, these sneakers have got a strong connection to these respective NBA players. So, 23isBack readers will have to wait till next month for the retail debut of the Jordan CP3.VIII.
As of now, it seems that once the Jordan CP3.VIII makes its retail debut, it will be hitting the shelves in a myriad of colorways. The colorful treatment that these two Jordan CP3.VIII pairs have received is an optimal example of this. In fact, the blue and purple itineration looks quite like the previous CP3 pairs from the “Nitro Pack.”
Chris Paul’s signature Jordan CP3.VIII had recently been officially unveiled by Jordan Brand. In Chris Paul’s Jumpman lineage, this is the 8th signature sneaker, boasting a high-tech and low cutting profile that emulates the unique mobility that Chris displays on the court. Both the toebox and tongue of the vibrant royal blue CP3.VIII are iridescent while both the light blue and yellow get some contrast in the form of Infrared 23. The other new jordans that grabs attention is almost all-red with black on the outsole and grey and black on the laces.
Although the initial colorways of the Jordan CP3.VIII had been expected to be more Chicago-inspired, apparently these two new colorways will be the ones to be released first. As mentioned, the Air Jordan XX9 and the Super.Fly III are first in queue to be released, and only then will the 23isBack readers be able to get their hands on this sneaker. Apparently, one of the post-November Jordan release dates are being planned for both these Jordan CP3.VIII colorways.
