Travis Scott is going to be collaborating with Jordan Brand once again to design one of next year‘s Air Jordan releases 2019. Ever since Drake allegedly parted ways with Jordan Brand, Travis Scott has become the face and leading representative of the brand from the world of hip hop. Travis Scott’s association with Jordan Brand was actually quite abrupt and it can all be traced back to when he unveiled the Jordan Trunner LX “Cactus Jack” on his Instagram profile (@travisscott) in July 2017. Travis Scott has been avidly collaborating with Jordan Brand in 2018 and it seems that he will continue doing so next year as well.
Travis Scott Has Been Teaming Up With Both Jordan Brand & Nike
Like Drake, Travis Scott seems to be a fan of the Air Jordan 4 too. In fact, one of his most memorable collaborative releases in 2018 was the Air Jordan 4 “Cactus Jack.” In addition, he also rocked a Dark Grey and a Purple variation of the Air Jordan 4 “Cactus Jack,” both of which were exclusives and never hit the shelves. He was also featured in Jordan Brand’s “Class of XXXIII,” which revolved around high school basketball players and the Air Jordan 33. Back in May, Travis Scott also collaborated with Nike to design an Air Force 1 Low “Sail” that came with interchangeable “Swoosh” logos.
The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 Has Not Been Unveiled Yet
Considering that it will apparently be among the Air Jordan releases 2019 in Spring/Summer next year, it is not surprising that there are no actual photos of the Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 6 colorway. As you can see, the image at the top is an illustration by @py_rates that depicts what the colorway will probably look like. According to the information available, it will be predominantly dressed up in Medium Olive, while also sporting three other hues, namely Black, University Red and Sail. The “Cactus Jack” branding of Travis Scott’s own record label will also likely be featured, most probably on both or one of the heels.
