A Toronto Huskies-themed OVO x Air Jordan 14 Retro PE Has Popped Up

Back in May, Jordan Brand released two different Air Jordan 14 colorways one after the other, namely the Air Jordan 14 “Desert Sand” and the Air Jordan 14 “Fuchsia Blast.” The “Last Shot” colorway of the model also joined this month’s Air Jordan releases 2018 on June 14th, in both men’s and GS sizes. Nike celebrated the release of the Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot” by releasing three different, authentic Chicago Bulls jerseys, namely a special-edition jersey, and two Swingman jerseys in the Home and Away versions. It turns out that Jordan Brand and Drake may have co-designed a Toronto Huskies-themed OVO x Air Jordan 14 PE.

Every year, the Toronto Raptors hold Drake Night to show their appreciation. It makes sense considering that Drake is the official ambassador of the team and also the unofficial ambassador of the city. Back in November 2016, Drake was present courtside during the annual Drake Night. A Drake Night-themed shirt was even given out to everyone who attended the game. Masai Uriji, the current president of the Toronto Raptors, even gave Drake his very own custom jacket that was lined with a Toronto Huskies jersey on the inside, as can be seen in the above photo. Thus, it is obvious that Drake has close ties wih the Toronto-based teams.

Until recently, Drake also had pretty close ties with Jordan Brand as well, but at this point, his departure from the Jordan Brand family is somewhat obvious. However, that does not stop co-designed Air Jordan 14 featured here is one such Player Exclusive colorway. As can be seen, it was designed to sport the official, signature color scheme of the Toronto Huskies. Thus, it has predominantly clean White uppers, while Royal Blue-colored detailing can be spotted throughout. Additionally, a little Golden-colored OVO “owl” logo can also be spotted on the tongues. Of course, this PE will not be among upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018.
