Over the years, Jordan Brand has dropped numerous retro iterations of the fourth Air Jordan model, but only unofficial custom creations have been the ones to feature animal prints. Apparently, Jordan Brand is under the misguided belief that they will be tampering with the Air Jordan silhouettes that Michael Jordan once rocked on the court if they make additions like animal prints. Hence, it was quite a surprise when the very first photos of an Air Jordan 4 pair sporting snakeskin had popped up. Since that was quite a while ago, the Jordan release date will take place very soon.
Much like all of the Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle sneakers that hit the shelves last year, it seems that 2016 is going to be the year for the Air Jordan 4 to be treated to some premium aesthetic. In fact, this year the Air Jordan 4 is also receiving the Pinnacle treatment, which will result in the model arriving at retailers in a “Black Pony” rendition. Therefore, the sneaker featured here that is being referred to as the Air Jordan 4 PRM “Snakeskin” is technically the second sneaker to be dressed up in an animal print this year.
This is iteration is not really like the “Black Pony” one, which sports an entirely Black tonal upper that is a tad bit textured and covered in Black pony hair detailing. This Air Jordan 4 PRM is made up of snakeskin leather that is dressed up in a combination of Beige and Grey. On the other hand, the toe box, tongue and wings of the sneaker consist of tumbled leather. Adding an even more hint of luxury to this sneaker, metal detailing can be spotted on the heel and lace eyelets. Completing the look, this sneaker is also equipped with a combination of tonal White midsoles and outsoles.
As of now, still no details have been revealed regarding when the Jordan release 2016 of the Air Jordan 4 PRM “Snakeskin.” However, it is being rumored that it is slated to make its retail debut during summer and perhaps only 5,000 pairs will be available at price of $400 each, so Jordanheads will have to act quick in order to cop it.
