It was merely last week or so when the very first photos of a brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 23 emerged on the Internet after a very long time. With each passing day, Jordanheads are finally starting to much better looks at this upcoming sneaker. This new colorway of Jordan Brand’s twenty-third signature sneaker, which has been relevantly dubbed “Chicago,” will soon be arriving at retailers on one of the upcoming Jordan release dates 2015.
The reappearance of a new Air Jordan 23 colorway might be hinting towards the possibility that newer iterations are on their way to hit the shelves later this year. It is not surprising that Jordan Brand chose “Chicago” as the nickname of this sneaker, considering that the leather upper is entirely dressed up in Red. Considering the fact that more and more new photos of the Air Jordan 23 “Chicago” continue emerging, it should hopefully make sneakerheads less doubtful about the impending release of the sneaker. It must also be kept in mind that the Air Jordan 23 silhouette made its retail debut originally back in 2008 and it not appeared on retail shelves ever since.
Jordan Brand has apparently taken the monochromatic approach for the color scheme of this sneaker, which that its leather upper is completely covered in University Red. Both the toebox and tongue are riddled with perforations, while it also sports match gold side panel stitching and a gold-colored gum outsole. Black-colored “CHI,” which is short for Chicago and “CITY” can be spotted beside the ankle, while the ankle collar also has Black stars wrapped around it.
As mentioned, the release of this upcoming Air Jordan 23 colorway is more than confirmed, considering the abundance of photos that have been flooding the Internet as of lately. Although Jordan Brand hat not confirmed anything yet, one of the upcoming Jordan release dates 2015 will likely be marking the retail debut of the Air Jordan 23 “Chicago.”
