All the Jordan release dates 2015 that arrived in the months that have gone by marked the retail debut of a large number of Air Jordan 1 renditions. It is surprising that Jordan Brand had dropped no hints nor were there any rumors circulating, yet a “Black/Infrared” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low has hit the shelves at nationwide retailers and is now available to be copped.
From the looks of it, the Black, Infrared and White colorway of Jordan Brand’s first signature sneaker will pair nicely with an upcoming retro release, the Air Jordan 6 Retro Low “Infrared.” It makes sense considering that the upcoming Air Jordan 6 iteration, which originally debuted back in 2002, is also a low-top sneaker and it also sports the Infrared hue. Then again, apart from their low cut and Infrared accents, these two sneakers do not have in common do not have much in common. For instance, its upper is a combination of smooth and tumbled leather, its side paneling is perforated, and it also includes an adjustable lace fastener, sport fabric tongue and supportive air unit in its sole.
On the other hand, the Air Jordan 1 Low “Black/Infrared” features a plain, smooth leather upper that is dressed up in White with Black nubuck overlays on top. The laces are also tonal Black, while both the Nike Swoosh and the tongue are made up of the same heather-colored fabric. Thus, this sneaker sports a nice balance of the Black and White hues, while the heel and tongue also feature Infrared Jordan Branding, namely the Wings logo on the heel and the Jumpman logo on the tongue.
4th of July was already slated to be one of the major Jordan release dates 2015 since the scheduled drop of the Air Jordan 6 Low “Infrared” finally arrived. However, sneakerheads had likely not been expecting this Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Infrared” to hit the shelves too and retail at just $100.
