This Cheaper AJ1 Is Inspired By The Lance Mountain x Nike SB AJ1s

It was by the end of May last year, when Jordan Brand and Nike SB once again collaborated with each other to drop another unique iteration of the Air Jordan 1. What made the collaboration even more special was the fact that it had Lance Mountain’s name attached to it. This year, another Air Jordan 1 sneaker that looks similar to the all-black Lance Mountain rendition has surfaced and will be retailing on one of the upcoming jordan releases 2015 at a more reasonable price.

The Lance Mountain x Nike SB Air Jordan 1 was not only inspired by Lance Mountain’s sneakers but also the 80’s skateboarding culture, back when skaters would draw and paint slogons and symbols on their kicks. One particularly unique feature of the all-black and all-white versions of the sneakers was that if their paint is scratched off or gets worn out, the blue and red hues hidden beneath are unveiled, much like Lance’s own kicks.

However, even though the Air Jordan 1 colorway that is seen here appears similar to the Lance Mountain pairs, it does not come with that special feature. In fact, the sneaker does it even sport mismatched hues. Instead, the leather upper is predominantly dressed up in ominous black, along with tonal black laces and a tonal black Nike Swoosh. Adding some contrast, red makes an appearance on the Jordan Jumpman and Wings branding, inner lining, outsole and stitching, while a white midsole balances the look.

On the other hand, this upcoming Lance Mountain-inspired Air Jordan 1 that will soon hit the shelves on one of the upcoming Jordan release dates 2015 may not be covered in paint that wears off, but its price is merely $110.
