There is a possibility that Jordan Brand might be planning to set a trend of premium Air Jordan 4 releases this year. The Air Jordan 4 Premium “Black Pony Hair,” which was initially believed to be a Pinnacle release, made its retail debut during the first week of this month. Of course, copping this premium sneaker featuring a combination of faux croc skin textured leather and pony hair detailing was not cheap, whoever grabbed a pair had to part with $400 and it was also a limited release. Some hints suggest that the same will be the case with the upcoming Air Jordan 4 Premium “Snakeskin.”
By now, many Jordanheads have perhaps already taken a closer look at this striking iteration of the Air Jordan. For those who do not know, based on the official color code, this colorway is made up of a combination of hues like light bone, pure platinum, wolf grey and white, which is the reason behind the grayish, monochromatic aesthetic that it boasts. Apparently, this sneaker is also equipped with a rather heavy metallic hang tag as well. Of course, the leather overlays on the uppers are textured to look like snakeskin, which is where it gets its nickname from.
While there is still some time for its official release date to arrive, further details have become available regarding the Air Jordan 4 Premium “Snakeskin.” For starters, it would not be wrong to regard it as an exclusive and limited release because Jordan Brand have only produced merely 5,000 pairs. So, obviously not all collectors will manage to get their hands on a pair. Moreover, many of those who think they could make it on time to a retailer will have to think twice about it because once again, adding a pair to their collection will cost them $400. As for when will be here, they will reportedly hit the shelves on May 21st.
