These New Photos Reveal A Potential All-Leather Jordan 15Lab12 Sample With Gold Hardware

Back in May, Jordan Brand had added another installment to their “Lab” series of hybrid sneakers in the form of the 11Lab4, which featured patent leather. A month later, several photos of what was believed to be the Air Jordan 15Lab12 had popped up, but there has been no news of a potential Jordan release dates. While these latest photos are also of the Air Jordan 15Lab12, this version appears to be slightly different from the one that was seen a few months ago and it might possibly be a one-of-one sample.

air-jordan-15-lab-12-black-playoff-2Jordan Brand made it quite obvious that their “Lab” series would continue beyond the Air Jordan 11Lab4 and that the Air Jordan 12 and Air Jordan 15 were the next silhouettes in line to receive the hybrid treatment. It was @therealchickenwop who showcased the 15Lab12 for the very first time on his Instagram account. As seen in the photos, the latest entry in the “Lab” series apparently uses the Air Jordan 12 as its base, incorporating the woven pattern of the Air Jordan 15 throughout its upper. The Air Jordan 15Lab12 even resembles the lifestyle Air Jordan Future model because of its woven upper.

While this potential Air Jordan 15Lab12 sample seen in these latest photos also sports a woven construction, the thing that distinguishes it from the version previewed in June is the materials used. Instead of mesh and synthetic leather, the woven upper of this version is made up entirely of leather, including the inner lining as well. The sneaker also features metallic gold hardware. This actually adds a premium touch to the Air Jordan 15Lab12 and some Jordanheads may even agree that this version would easily fit into Jordan Brand’s Bin 23 Premio collection.

Moreover, Jordan Brand has still not dropped any hints regarding the Jordan release 2015 of their latest “Lab” iteration.
