Back in July, Jordan Brand made it evident that they have a lot more Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” releases lined up, such as the camouflage and the metallic gold iterations that surfaced not so long ago. However, it seems that this premium Air Jordan 1 series has welcomed two new additions, which are probably the most premium “Pinnacle” sneakers in recent times. One of the upcoming jordans release 2015 could mark the arrival of any of these “Pinnacle” pairs, but there are currently no hints of which one it could be.
Hender Scheme, the renowned Japan-based fasion and streetwear label, has been stealing the spotlight with their recent custom sneaker renditions. They have been taking classic sneakers, such as the Air Jordan 4, and have been giving them a makeover using handmade and vegetable tanned leather. Apparently, Jordan Brand decided to give it a shot as well because one of the upcoming Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” pairs is made up of natural leather.
Recently, Richard Hamilton unveiled both of the new Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle,” a crock-skin version and a natural leather version. Some additional photos of the two sneakers were also posted by @bigktheboss on Instagram, so sneakerheads will not have to wonder what these two kicks will look like exactly once they arrive at retailers.
The croc-skin Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” colorway has a premium leather upper that is entirely dressed up in Baroque Brown, while the ankle, heel and Nike Swoosh feature some exquisite crock-skin detailing. For that signature luxurious style, the eyelets, heel, Jordan Wings logo and tongue all feature 23k gold detailing. The other “Pinnacle” colorway is similar in this regard since it also sports 23k gold hardware at the same spots. However, it has received the Hender Scheme-treatment since its upper is made up of natural leather and box will also include a pair of leather laces.
Since there has not been any word from Jordan Brand, it is hard to tell if these Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” “Croc” and “Tan” renditions will ever make their retail debut. Nonetheless, rumors have been spreading that these sneakers will indeed hit the shelves on one of the November 2015 Jordan release dates.
