The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro High Is Arriving In May 2019

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorway will finally be making its retail debut among the Air Jordan releases 2019 next month. Shortly before the NBA All-Star Weekend, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 33 NRG “Army Olive” made its retail debut on Valentine’s Day, i.e. February 14th, 2019. Not too long after that, Travis Scoot shared photos in which he was seen holding and wearing in a never-before-seen Nike Air Force 1 Low colorway, though there has been no news about its potential arrival. However, his Air Jordan 1 colorway first mentioned in this post will finally hit the shelves early next month.

Recently, Bleacher Report and the Philadelphia-based sports clothing company Mitchell & Ness collaborated with Travis Scott to be the face of their NBA Remix Campaign. This campaign revolves around a collection of jerseys and t-shirts, such as the one above. As you can see, most of them will feature a modified and reimagined variation of the Houston Rockets’ original logo, since Travis Scott was born in Houston, Texas. This limited edition apparel will also feature Bleacher Report and Mitchell & Ness branding as well. The prices of the jerseys and t-shirts from this NBA Remix Campaign collection will range from $60 to $250.

Unlike earlier reports that it would arrive at retailers this month, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High OG will join next month’s Air Jordan releases 2019. One look and it becomes obvious that this is not a traditional Air Jordan 1 iteration. Namely, the NikeSwoosh” logo on it lateral sides is reversed and cut off by the midsoles at the bottom, while the one on the medial sides has Travis Scott’s “Cactus Jack” branding behind it. Its ankle areas have hidden Velcro pockets on the inner side for storing money. Last but not least, Travis Scott’s smiley face logo is debossed on its heels.
