Jordan Brand is preparing to release a broad collection of apparel, accessories and footwear to commemorate Black History Month, which not only spans across basketball but also football, running, skateboarding and soccer. Indeed, 23isBack readers will be able to cop the Air Jordan products from this collection. However, this Jordan release 2015 is basically in honor of the courage and determination of the athletes and coaches who have influenced these respective sports.
According to Nike, their Black History Collection of 2015 is a celebration of the influence of athletes and sports leaders on global culture and for the next generation that will take over where they have left off.
Initially, it was being speculated that January 15th, 2015 would be marking the retail debut of the Jordan Brand BHM Collection 2015 at select retailers. The collection includes three different Jordan Brand sneakers, namely the Girls Air Jordan 1 High, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, and the Air Jordan XX9. Since all three pairs belong to a single collection, they look quite identical with a black and white color combination and dressed up in tribal-like patterns. BHM branding is also featured on the tongues of all three sneakers. Apart from the footwear, the collection also includes accessories and apparel, such as a cap, a hoodie, socks, and two T-shirts, all featuring Jordan branding.
Apart from the BHM-themed colorway, there is another thing that sets this collection apart. Nike is going be donating portions of the revenue they will generate from the release of this collection to the Ever Higher Fund. This charity supports organizations that bring out the true potential of underprivileged youth.
Even though January 15th, 2015 was initially believed to be the date on which this collection would be dropped, but the latest Jordan release 2015 news is speculating that the collection could hit the shelves on January 17th, 2015. So, 23isBack readers should stay tuned until Jordan Brand actually confirms when the Jordan Brand BHM Collection 2015 will be making its limited retail debut.
