With half of this year still remaining, Jordan Brand continues the celebration of the 23rd Anniversary of the Air Jordan 7. Just like numerous Air Jordan 6 colorways arrived at retailers last year, the same has happened with Air Jordan 7 iterations. Even an Air Jordan 7 “Championship Pack” hit the shelves this year, but now, one of the upcoming Jordan release dates 2015 is slated to mark the arrival of a GS-exclusive “Hot Lava” colorway of the Air Jordan 7.
Old-school Jordanheads are probably aware of the fact that 1992 was quite a crucial year for Nike since they created some very unique color combinations and color schemes for their sneakers during that era. Even the classic Black and White hues had been individually paired with vibrant and vivid shades during that time, and color palettes like those are still in use till today. Even though 23 years have passed, it seems that the upcoming Air Jordan 7 “Hoto Lava” is somewhat paying a tribute to those exhilarating and stirring color combinations from the past. Hot Lava is truly a hue with old-school roots and small-footed sneakerheads will not be able to sport kicks that feature Hot Lava-colored accents.
This GS-sized Air Jordan 7 rendition boasts a clean, crisp White leather upper with traces of Black throughout, especially on the laces, midsole unit and the tongue. However, the hue that this colorway is named after makes an appearance on the inner lining and the tongue, while it is also visible on the midsole unit as well. Finally, an icy translucent outsole unit adds the finishing touch to this sneaker.
No doubt, the fact that the Air Jordan 7 “Hot Lava” will be hitting the shelves on one of the upcoming Jordan release dates 2015 – namely June 11th – in GS-exclusive sizes. However, considering is sneakerheads recall, Jordan Brand had expanded their GS size range, so women and children will not be the only ones who could grab a pair of this sneaker for $140.
