It was back in December 2014 when Jordan Brand had made the announcement that the GS sizes of Air Jordan sneakers would be expanded. Many readers probably recall seeing this Air Jordan 7 GS colorway when a post was made last year on 23isBack regarding this news. Now, Jordan Brand has finally confirmed one of the March Air Jordan release dates 2015 for the retail debut of this Air Jordan 7 GS “White/Infrared-Black.”
The upper of this girls and kids-exclusive sneaker primarily consists of a white upper with match white overlays, all of which are made from tumbled leather. The white overlays also feature Verde green stitching. Verde green also accompanies the Infrared hue on the Jordan branding and on the white midsole and outsole, adding a pop of color to this otherwise plain looking sneaker. The solid black heel tab, laces and tongue add a contrasting, dark touch to this pair, while hints of black are also present in the form of accents, such as on the midsole and outsole. Branding on this sneaker includes the ‘JORDAN’ spelled out on the tongue, the Jordan Jumpman on the side, the ’23’ on the heel, and the ’30’ on the insole, which signifies JB’s 30th Anniversary.
Although there is no news regarding Jordan Brand’s plan to ever drop a Loony Tunes-inspired sneaker pack, but this GS-sized new jordans surely looks like it would be a part of such a pack. In fact, this particular colorway looks like a reverse version of the Air Jordan 7 “Marvin the Martian” and both these Air Jordan 7 pairs are going to be hitting the shelves around the same time. Thus, the upcoming March Jordan release dates will be marking the arrival of two Air Jordan 7 colorways. While male Jordanheads will head out to grab the Air Jordan 7 “Marvin the Martian” on March 7th, the ladies and children will be able to cop this Air Jordan 7 “White/Infrared-Black” on March 14th, 2015.
