There was a time when Air Jordan retros sporting Nike Air logo was considered an incredible, unbelievable and even an unlikely possibility, but that is no longer the case anymore. Not so long ago, the Air Jordan 3 Reto ’88 hit the shelves followed by the re-release of several consecutive original Air Jordan 1 Retro High pairs, all of which featured the OG Nike Air label on the tongue. Hence, the door is now wide open for Jordan Brand to do the same with versions of their first six silhouettes that they will be bringing back this year and on the Jordan release dates 2016.
Then again, it is also true that this year there have not been that many Air Jordan sneakers sporting the Nike Air logo, apart from those seen on the revived Air Jordan 1 OGs and the Retro ’88. Jordan Brand has not made any other re-releases of this nature on any of the recent Jordan release dates 2015, nor does it seem that they will be. Hopefully, the Jordan releases 2016 will mark a change in this regard. It has already been confirmed that the Air Jordan 6 “Maroon” is making its comeback this Holiday Season after nearly 21 years and apparently, the “White/Cement” colorway of the Air Jordan 4 is also returning next year.
The Air Jordan 4 “White/Cement” predominantly comprises of an upper that is made of premium White leather, while the lacing unit, midsole and posterior badget sport traces of Cement Grey, the secondary hue in this color scheme. Perhaps the highlighting feature of this sneaker is the OG “Nike Air” logo that has been incorporated into its construction.
According to reports, the 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend will be taking place next year in Toronto on February 13th. So, this could be one of the potential Jordan release dates 2016 that will mark the tremendously surprising comeback of the Air Jordan 4 “White/Cement” and it will apparently be available at a price of $220.
