The Jordan 4 “Bred” Might Also Get Remastered With Nike Air In 2016

So far, the Air Jordan 5 seems to be the most popular model from Jordan Brand for next year, but it also looks like the Air Jordan 4 could take the second spot. It is no longer just rumors that the Air Jordan 4Military Blue” and the Air Jordan 4 “White Cement” are among the two iterations of the model to receive the OG retro treatment in 2016. Moreover, it is also being rumored that the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” might also make a comeback next year in OG form. Above all, the Air Jordan 4 “Alternate ’89” has already become available before its scheduled Jordan release dates 2016.

air-jordan-4-bred-1999-1Jordanheads have always been rather fond of the Black and Red color combination since they are widely recognized as the colors of the Chicago Bulls, the team Michael Jordan began his career with. No wonder, Jordan Brand has dropped so many sneakers that sport the black and red “Bred” color scheme. Originally, the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” retailed at a price of $110 back in 1989 and by the time it was re-released as a retro in 2012, its price had risen by $50. The sneaker itself features a predominantly Black upper, while Red act as the secondary hue, appearing on the inner lining, Jordan Jumpman logo and the outsole. The two hues are further balanced out by the Grey that can be spotted on the front half of the midsole and the Nike Air logo, while the other half is covered in crisp White.

The 2012 retro version of the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” did not feature the Nike Air logo, which will likely not come as a surprise. Considering Jordan Brand’s initiative to remaster their retro sneakers with Nike Air branding, it is also not surprising that a Jordan release dates 2016 is being rumored for the Air Jordan 4 “Bred.” Perhaps the only surprising thing is that the Air Jordan 4 “Alternate ’89” is already up for grabs on eBay, a month or so before its scheduled release date.
