Since 2015 is celebratory year for Jordan Brand, considering that this year marks 30 years of the brand’s existence, so several later models of the Air Jordan sneakers are going to be re-released. The Air Jordan 20 is one such model that has already hit the shelves in a “Laser” colorway in commemoration of JB’s 30th Anniversary. Next month, 23 is Back readers will be able to get their hands on the “Stealth” colorway of this silhouette. Indeed, one of the March Jordan release dates 2015 has been announced for the retail debut of the Air Jordan 20 “Stealth.”
Although the Air Jordan 20 has officially made its comeback, it took 10 years for Jordan Brand to bring the silhouette back to retail shelves. As mentioned in a recent 23 is Back post, Tinker Hatfield was inspired by motorcycle tires and racing boots when designing the Air Jordan 20. Even though this is not the official “Laser” iteration, this “Stealth” colorway of the Air Jordan 20 does sport laser detailing.
Black patent leather has been used for the glossy upper of this sneaker. Mark Smith, who had originally played a part in designing the Air Jordan 20 model, is also responsible for the laser etching featured on the black nubuck midstrap of this pair. The laser etching is made up of symbols like the Jordan Jumpman, ’45,’ etc., all of which are somehow related to the career and life of Michael Jordan. This Air Jordan 20 colorway even gives off Chicago Bulls vibes because of the Varsity Red inner lining. It even features separate Jordan branding on the ankle strap and the heel as well.
23 is Back readers who did not grab the “Laser” rendition or would not mind adding another Air Jordan 20 pair to their collection would likely be interested in copping this new jordans next month. March 14th has been confirmed as one of the March Air Jordan release dates 2015 on which the Air Jordan 20 “Stealth” will be available at retailers at a price of $220.
