The Jordan 20 Makes Its Comeback After 10 Years In A “Laser” Colorway

It was back in 2005 when the Air Jordan 20 had made its retail debut and now after 10 years, Jordan Brand is going to drop their twentieth signature sneaker model in a “Laser” colorway. Since it was ten years ago when 23 is Back readers last saw the Air Jordan 20, and many had likely missed the chance to cop it, so they are probably excited that this sneaker model is making a comeback. One of the 2015 Jordan release dates that had been confirmed for the arrival of AJ 20 colorway is finally here, so the wait is over.

Apparently, they designed this pair to represent the achievements and tales from MJ’s life and also Jordan Brand’s first 20 years. They were inspired by shoes worn by cyclists and the tires of motorcycles for the build of this sneaker. Courtesy of the laser detailing that the upper of this sneaker is covered in, this Air Jordan 20 pair earns a spot along with similar Air Jordan 1 and 4 iterations as a part of the “Laser” Pack by Jordan Brand.

Just the “Laser” colorways of the Air Jordan 1 and 4, the base is also topped with overlays featuring laser etching. Of course, the Air Jordan 20 also sports its trademark elements, namely its distinctive grey ankle collar, strap and a wide midfoot strap. The combination of a pure White midsole and an icy translucent outsole add a futuristic touch to the bottom half of this sneaker. Last but not least, various parts of this sneaker are also covered in Jordan branding, including several Jordan Jumpman logos.

Since February 16th was one of the Jordan release dates 2015 that had been announced for the retail debut of the Air Jordan 20 “Laser,” so Jordanheads can now cop this sneaker for $250 from select Jordan Brand and Nike retailers.
