The Air Jordan 4 “Legend Blue” or “Columbia” is the first remastered retro sneaker from Jordan Brand that will be making its retail debut this month. Even though there are already plenty of remastered retros of various Air Jordan models that 23 is Back readers will be able to cop, but apparently Jordan Brand is adding another new jordans to the list. Rumor has it that one of the upcoming 2015 Air Jordan release dates will also be marking the retail debut of the “Cobalt/White” colorway of the Air Jordan 11 Low IE.
It was back in 1996 when this coveted classic lowtop Air Jordan 11 had been released. A white leather upper is featured by this sneaker with a grey full-grain leather mudguard stitched on top of it. The upper also features perforated meshing and stitching. Unlike the trademark patent leather that is sported by every standard Air Jordan 11 sneaker, the overlay is covered with the classic Elephant print. This colorway gets its name from the Cobalt-colored Jordan Jumpman that is stitched onto the tongue. Finally, a white midsole is sandwiched between the upper and a clear, icy translucent outsole, which would look even better if it was blue.
23 is Back readers may or may not be aware of the fact that the Air Jordan 11 Low IE “Cobalt/White” was also retroed back in 2003. Despite the fact that this rumor has been spreading like wild fire, actual images of this year’s possible retro have not been officially published or leaked. Obviously, this means that no confirmation has been provided by Jordan Brand yet, but if this rumor is true, this would be a must-have sneaker for any Jordanhead’s collection.
It is more than likely that there is some truth behind this rumor, which means sooner or later, Jordan Brand is going to confirm that this Air Jordan 11 Low IE will hit the shelves as a remastered retro on one of the Jordan release dates 2015.
