20 years ago on May 7th, Michael Jordan was in a basketball match against the Orlando Magic and on that he also wore the Air Jordan 11 Low silhouette for the very first time. Apparently since it was the 20th Anniversary of this occurrence, so Jordan Brand decided to unveil official photos Air Jordan 11 Low “Bred” and announce that they are brining back the sneaker. Surprisingly, Jordan Brand has confirmed one of this month’s Jordan release dates 2015 for the arrival of this pair at retailers.
Many Jordanheads have spent 19 years anticipating the return of the Air Jordan 11 Low “Bred,” one of the most popular colorways of the model. Fortunately, now they will not have to wait anymore. It was during the offseason back in 1996 when Michael Jordan had first sported this iconic sneaker. Another obvious reason that Jordan Brand has decided for this pair to make a comeback is because of the brand’s 30th Anniversary. The returning version might actually be a remastered iteration, but it is not a high-top like the original, which probably does not matter.
The low-top Air Jordan 11 “Bred” is precisely similar to the OG kicks, with the exception of being having a low cut. Just like the OG and as it’s nickname suggests, the patent leather and standard leather upper of this sneaker is dressed up in all-Black, with a White midsole and Red covering the inner lining and translucent outsole. Red and White are also featured on the branding on the tongue, while a larger Red-colored Jordan Jumpman is present on the insole.
Nikestore is going to mark the retail debut of the Air Jordan 11 Low “Bred,” where it will soon be available. Apparently, Jordan Brand is going to restrict every sneakerhead to be able to cop just a single pair, which might mean that this sneaker will be released in limited numbers. So Jordanheads would want to mark May 23rd, 2015 along with the other Jordan release dates on their calendar so as not to miss grabbing these coveted kicks.
