Jordan Brand had dropped the Air Jordan xx9 back in September, 2014. Considering that that the sneaker was designed to have a never-before-seen performance-woven upper, 23isBack readers would have likely realized that the sneaker would be featuring all sorts of patterns and prints. Yet, the first few colorways of the Air Jordan 29 that were released were rather simple, featuring either elephant print color blockings or an oversized Jordan Jumpman. Fortunately, the Jordan release dates 2015 is marking the retail debut of some interesting AJ29 pairs.
In 2015, the Air Jordan 29 silhouette will apparently be straying away from the initial subtle look, especially in the case of the Air Jordan 29 from this year’s BHM Collection and this “Gym Red” colorway. Even though the black and white BHM Air Jordan 29 might get mistaken for a simple colorway, the presence of a tribal or zebra-like pattern makes the pair stand out. Even though the Air Jordan “Gym Red” is not associated with any honorary occasion, the “Bred” or Chicago Bulls-inspired color combination makes the sneaker look quite unique.
This “Gym Red” colorway of the Air Jordan 29 has a black upper with grey wavy patterns on top of it. This version of the Air Jordan’s 29th iteration features a large white Jordan Jumpman on the side. However, the true highlight of the colorway, which gives it its name, is the presence of Gym Red on the inner lining, laces and the outsole. The black midsole is also covered with the elephant print and the tongue also has a large 23 stitched onto it.
At the moment, January 10th, 2015 is speculated as the release date for the Air Jordan 29 “Gym Red,” so 23isBack should be prepared to cop this new jordans. However, just in case the sneaker does not hit the shelves, it only means that the retail debut of this AJ29 colorway has been postponed to one of the other upcoming Jordan release dates 2015.
