Every basketball enthusiast and diehard Jordanhead will likely agree that Michael Jordan is a legend in the history of the sport, truly deserving and worthy of being dubbed the “master.” Over the course of his illustrious career, MJ has managed to amass innumerable career achievements and his statistics dominate those of his fellow athletes. No wonder his celebrated legacy has always served as a source of inspiration for the footwear brand he helped establish. Thus, the latest Jordan release of the Air Jordan 12 iteration as a part of The Game Plan Jordan “Master” Collection in collaboration with Champs Sports symbolizes MJ’s excellence and mastery.
During the last few years before Michael Jordan bid farewell to the NBA for good, a poster was released for the marketing of the Air Jordan 12. The poster featured Michael Jordan showcasing his dribbling skills while laced up in a Black and White Air Jordan 12 pair and the poster also had “The Master” printed vertically down its side. During the 1996–97 NBA season, Michael Jordan consistently rocked the Air Jordan 12 on the court as he aimed to grab the championship for the fifth time. Even when the Bulls scored an iconic victory over the Utah Jazz, MJ was wearing the Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game.”
Originally a part of Jordan Brand’s “Poster” Collection, the Air Jordan 12 inspired by Michael Jordan’s “The Master” posted will now hit the shelves as a part of The Game Plan Jordan “Master” Collection. The nearly all-Black, tumbled leather sneaker is visibly equipped with Gold-colored lace eyelets while White accents can also be spotted. A similar looking Air Jordan 1 rendition dubbed “Flight 3” is also a part of the collection, along with a cap, shorts and T-shirts, all bearing Jordan Brand-related logos.
The Jordan release 2016 of the entire The Game Plan Jordan “Master” Collection has already taken place. Therefore, Jordanheads can go ahead and cop the Air Jordan 12 “Master,” the Air Jordan 1 “Flight 3,” and the rest of the apparel from any nearby Champ Sports retail store.
