03/14/15 Air 20 Retro “Stealth” 310455-002
It is true that Jordan Brand has not exactly been enthusiastic and willing to retro their flagship line of sneakers beyond the Air Jordan XIV era. However, considering that it is the 10th anniversary of the Air Jordan XX model, it seems that 23 is Back readers will probably be seeing the model make a comeback in 2015 as a retro. Recently, an image from a catalog was leaked, which reveals that the Air Jordan XX “Stealth” from 2005 is scheduled to be released as a retro with one of the March Jordan release dates 2015 attached to it.
It was back in 2008 when the Countdown Pack had been released, which include the “Stealth” colorway of the Air Jordan XX. Obviously, 23isBack readers can probably not forget that Jordan Brand had made an announcement earlier this year to remaster Air Jordan retros and release them in 2015. It did not take long for actual names of the sneakers to surface, including an Air Jordan IV “Columbia” and even an Air Jordan XI Low “Bred,” all of which will feature the “Nike Air” logo on their tongues.
The information that points towards a possible retro release of the Air Jordan XX “Stealth” in March 2015 adds further hype to all the remastering news. Originally, this sneaker had actually been released back in 2005. This inspiration for the Air Jordan XX silhouette had come from Michael Jordan’s fondness and passion for motorcycles. Thus, a patent leather base with nubuck straps in black are featured on this sneaker, while the heel and outsole feature accents in stealth grey and some lining in red.
According to the catalog shot that was recently leaked, one of the upcoming 23isback release dates 2015 that is apparently associated with it is March 14. If this is indeed true, it will mean that 23 is Back readers will be able to spend $180 to cop this Air Jordan XX Retro “Stealth” next year in March.
