The Air Jordan 29 was the latest installment in Jordan Brand’s signature numbered sneaker series and the model made its successful retail debut last year. Now 2015 is coming to an end but there is no news regarding the potential 2015 Jordan releases of the Air Jordan 30, let alone any other details. The last time the upcoming, thirtieth Air Jordan silhouette was remotely mentioned was back in April during an exclusive video interview in which Ahmad Rashad interviewed Bugs Bunny.
Back in August, rumors began circulating that a photo of the Air Jordan 30 had been leaked on Instagram by Jeffrey Jordan, who happens to be Michael Jordan’s son. Jeffrey did not explicitly state that the never-before-seen sneaker in the photo he posted is indeed the next signature Air Jordan model. Moreover, the sneaker appeared to be more outdated than advanced, which makes it seem doubtful that it is indeed the Air Jordan 30. Basically, the upper of this sneaker features synthetic croc-skin texture, while it also consists of a breathable mesh and a neoprene sock liner that blend into one another. It also seems that the outsole might be equipped with Jordan Brand’s patented Flight Plate technology.
While it is hard to tell if Jeffrey Jordan indeed shared a photo of the Air Jordan 30, but before September came to an end, one vital release detail about the sneaker was revealed in a new video. Apparently, China will be the country where the retail debut of the Air Jordan 30 will take place, at least that is what this new video claims. While the video itself is quite mysterious, Jeffrey Jordan’s name can be spotted on a piece of paper with the title “Jordan 30th Celebration.”
