Considering that February will be the month of the NBA All-Star Weekend, a large number of Air Jordan sneakers can be expected to hit the shelves next month. One of those sneakers that 23 is Back readers can look forward to is the Air Jordan 1 “Brooklyn.” Perhaps Jordan release dates 2015 will mark the retail debut of numerous Air Jordan sneakers of a similar nature.
Many 23isBack readers had probably been assuming that the Just Don x Air Jordan II “Quilted” would be the only was the only deluxe pair of Air Jordan retros that Jordan Brand would be dropping this year. However, this elegant and high-quality “Brooklyn” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 proves that Jordan Brand has much more in store than what most Jordanheads are aware of.
This sneaker colorway was dubbed “Brooklyn” in honor of one of New York City’s boroughs of the same name, which happens to the place where Michael Jordan was born. Considering that 2015 marks the 30th Anniversary of Jordan Brand, this is the most ideal timeframe for the release of such a sneaker.
The upper of this luxe Air Jordan 1 pair appears scaly because of the faux premium textured snakeskin leather that it is made up of. Metallic gold embellishments also adorn the scaly upper in the form of the lace aglets, lock and loops, the Jordan Wings logo, the “MJ23” and “1985” heel tabs and the Nike Air tongue tag. The Nike Swoosh on the side is made up of the same textured leather as the rest of the upper and this new jordans has been finished off with a solid white midsole/outsole that contrasts with the rest of the upper.
For 23 is Back readers, these can be included among the must-have Air Jordan pairs of this year. The release of the Air Jordan 1 “Brooklyn” is yet to be confirmed by Jordan Brand. However, considering that the NBA All-Star Weekend is ahead of us, one of the upcoming Jordan release dates 2015 can be expected to be announced in the next few weeks.
