Christians all over the world celebrated Easter this past Sunday on April 16th, 2017. In Tegucigalpa, Honduras, people participated in an Easter Sunday procession. In Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Christians were at the Medhane Alem church during Easter eve where they were blessed by an Ethiopian Orthodox priest. An Easter vigil mass took place at the Legio Maria African Mission church in Nairobi, Kenya. A special baptism ceremony took place on Easter Sunday at the West Beijing Catholic Church. Stadium Goods also celebrated Christmas in their own unique way and gave sneakerheads a gift in the form an opportunity to win free kicks, including the recent Air Jordan 1 “Royal.”
An annual Easter shoe giveaway was also hosted by the Lutheran Mission in San Bernardino, California. This was the ninth time that the Central City Lutheran Mission hosted this Easter Shoes Giveaway along with an Egg Hunt on Good Friday in San Bernardino. The mission pre-selected 60 children, who were also given an Easter basket containing candy, Easter eggs and toys. The egg hunt took place in the parking lot beside the mission. Considering that there were more than 1,000 plastic eggs hidden there, the kids enjoyed the hunt a lot. This act of kindness of a huge ray of hope and joy for them.
This Easter, Stadium Goods also decided to be quite generous as well. Firstly, Stadium Goods decided to charge nothing to ship domestic ground orders. It was certainly great not having to pay any shipping charges on any sneakers ordered within the U.S. through Stadium Goods on Easter Day. However, at the same time, each of those purchases were also automatically entered in the mentioned giveaway. On April 17th, the very next day, 5 lucky buyers were selected to receive the addias Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Zebra,” Air Jordan 1 “Banned,” Air Jordan 1 “Royal,” Nike Air Max 1 “Master,” and the Reigning Champ x adidas Ultra Boost 3.0.
Hopefully, many of those reading this already took advantage of the free domestic ground shipping. Even though many of sneakerheads perhaps already own the mentioned sneakers, it is unlikely that any of them would complain about or refuse the opportunity to win free kicks.
