Art Basel will be home to one of this year’s upcoming collaborative Air Jordan releases 2018, designed in partnership with SoleFly. The weekend that follows Thanksgiving happens to be one of the year’s busiest travel weeks during the Holiday Season. Coincidentally, the annual Art Basel in Miami Beach also tends to fall around this time. Every year, the Miami Beach Convention Center hosts the international art fair for four days. This year, the event will be running between December 6th and 9th. Like last year, Jordan Brand will be releasing two exclusive Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorways at Art Basel in collaboration with South Miami-based store SoleFly.
What Were Last Year’s Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Releases?
In case you do not recall, last year’s Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Pack ended up making its retail debut on a yacht. The pack included the Air Jordan 1 “Igloo” and “Rush Pink” colorways. It was actually scheduled to retail at Social Status pop-up shop located at 1100 West Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida on December 8th, 2017. Unfortunately, the shop was shut down by the police and had to be relocated on a yacht located at 888 MacArthur Causeway. Hopefully this year’s Art Basel Air Jordan releases 2018 will end up being available as scheduled, without any unexpected commotion or setbacks.

The other has patent leather uppers that are dressed up in a combination of Black and Forrest Green, while “MIA” appears over its tongues. In the video above, DJ Khaled claims that the latter is limited to just 23 pairs. The heels of both iterations also the “SoleFly” logo.
