One of the most coveted and high priced Air Jordan sneaker of all time that sneakerheads constantly on the lookout for in the resale market is the Air Jordan 4 “UNDFTD.” Jordan Brand had collaborated with Undefeated back in 2005 to drop the Air Jordan 4 “UNDFTD.” Ever since, sneakerheads have been wondering when the sneaker will return once again as a retro. Currently though, it is unlikely that the Air Jordan 4 “UNDFTD” is going make a comeback anytime soon. While the Air Jordan 8 “UNDFTD” is scheduled to arrive at retailers next year, The Shoe Surgeon has whipped up an Air Jordan 4 “UNDFTD”-inspired custom.
Rumors about the Air Jordan 8 “UNDFTD” joining the Jordan releases 2017 have been circulating online for quite some time. Not too long ago, Jordan Brand had finally published official photos of the sneaker for the very first time. Unlike the Undefeated x Air Jordan 4, the upcoming “UNDFTD” iteration of the Air Jordan 8 has not really been designed in collaboration with Undefeated. The nickname is being used because of its resemblance to the Air Jordan 4 rendition that bears the same nickname. Its uppers are dressed up in a combination of Black, Military Green “Sequoia” and Red.
The Shoe Surgeon was likely inspired after learning that Jordan Brand would be dropping the Air Jordan 8 “UNDFTD” in 2017. It does not look like the sneaker customizer has utilized an actual Air Jordan 4 “UNDFTD” pair, but his custom creation does appear to be featuring that familiar “UNDFTD” color scheme. Its uppers appear to be nubuck and are predominantly dressed up in Olive. Other materials visible on this sneaker include gator, lamb and ostrich leather. It is also equipped with satin tongues and the Velcro embroidered tongue tags can be interchanged.
It turns out that some sneakerhead paid approximately $2,000 to order this custom Air Jordan 4 “UNDFTD”-inspired pair and it took The Shoe Surgeon roughly two months to complete it. Of course, it is a one-of-one pair, but sneakerheads can wait for the January Jordan releases 2017, which will include the Air Jordan 8 “UNDFTD” that will hit the shelves on January 28, 2017.
