It is now officially the year of Jordan Brand and the Air Jordan 1’s 30th Anniversary. Even though Jordan Brand likely has loads of plans for their other sneaker models, but 23isBack readers can expect the Air Jordan 1 to be in the forefront. In fact, it seems that never-before-seen Air Jordan 1 High pairs with tonal uppers will be hitting the shelves on one of the upcoming Jordan release dates 2015.
Right before 2014 came to an end, images of an Air Jordan 1 High dressed up in black python with traces of gold detailing popped up on the Internet. It can be seen that the upper has python scales, as a result of which this new jordans sneaker gets some excellent texture. The ankle has a gold Jordan Wings logo and the tongue bears a gold Nike Air label. Finally, the tonal laces and white midsole finish the look.
Although initially it seemed that this black python version of the Air Jordan 1 High was the only version that would be making its retail debut this year, but apparently that is not the case. Two other similar colorways will be joining this iteration, one of which is in light grey and the other is in tan. However, the upper of these two renditions are not dressed up in python like the black one. Rather, smooth leather has been used for the upper of these two colorways. Nonetheless, metal plates are featured on the lace locks, tongue tags and “Wings” logos. Similarly, all three colorways also have white midsoles and soles as well.
23isBack readers will probably agree that all three of these Air Jordan 1 pairs look luxurious, and that is probably what Jordan Brand had intended for these sneakers. Even though all these of these “Metal Plated” Air Jordan 1 sneakers have been unveiled, and even though one of the future Jordan release dates 2015 will be associated with them, none have been announced yet.
