Readers and visitors of 23 is Back may have most likely noticed that there have not been many collaboration Air Jordans released this year. Fortunately, upcoming Jordan release dates 2014 will also include the date of release of this Public School x Air Jordan 1 “PSNY,” which will heat things up for the summer.
Just last month in June, Public School, the New York-based cutting edge fashion brand, was awarded with the “CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year” award, and it seems like the brand is not stopping there. Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, the men behind the label, have officially teamed up with Jordan Brand for the release of these collaboration Air Jordan 1 kicks.
23 is Back readers will be quick to notice that this Air Jordan 1 pair has been dubbed the “PSNY” after the fashion brand. A premium black leather paneling is featured on the upper of this pair with Public School branding all over and an icy blue outsole. This pair will prove to be a treat for all those sneakerheads who are fans of O. G. Jordans since “Nike Air” is featured on the tongue label. However, sneaker enthusiasts are advised against getting to excited about these kicks since for now, only 50 pairs are going to be released in a friends and family edition.
By now it should be obvious that Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne have crafted this sneaker, considering that it is a collaboration Air Jordan. A great Jordan release 2015 news is that a “23NY” version of this collaboration Air Jordan I will also be hitting the shelves next year with a price tag of $160.
According to rumors, the Public School x Air Jordan 1 “23NY” will be making an exclusive retail debut at the New York-based Jordan Brand Flight 23 store. As they eagerly wait for more Jordan release dates, Jordanheads can only keep their hopes high of somewhat getting their hands on the fancy “PSNY” pair, as unlikely as it might seem.
