Next year will not only mark the anniversaries of several Air Jordan models, it will also mark the anniversaries of many of Michael Jordan’s achievements that have been under his belt for years now. It is true that many of next year’s Spring Jordan releases 2016 have already been officially announced and the sneakers that will be arriving on those dates have also been unveiled. However, those are merely the tip of the iceberg because there are many other sneakers that are being predicted to hit the shelves in 2016.
Initially, the Air Jordan 6 Retro “Maroon,” which originally debuted in 1991 and is returning on one of the October Jordan release dates 2015, was one of the rumored Retro that are to release next year. Next year’s lineup could also include the Air Jordan 4 “Cool Grey” from 2004, considering that the Air Jordan Air Jordan 4 OG ’89 “White Cement” is also making a comeback. Moreover, another Air Jordan 4 colroway is going to debut as a part of their “Dunk From Above” Collection.
Many sneakerheads who watched Space Jam likely remember the memorable Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” that Michael Jordan wore in the comedy film. Considering that it will be the 20th Anniversary of the film next year and there have also been rumors of a potential sequel starring LeBron James, so perhaps it is possible that that “Space Jam” could also finally release, maybe with the “45.”
Recent years have been quite spectacular for the Air Jordan 2, considering quite a few of the OG colorways. More recently, the Air Jordan 2 was the chosen silhouette that served as the base and cavas for the Don C collaboration. Moreover, the Air Jordan 2 “Radio Raheem” is also scheduled to be dropped next year, so the Air Jordan 2 “Black Chrome” from 2004 is also being predicted to join it.
Readers must keep in mind that none of the above sneakers have been officially confirmed or teased to potentially arrive at retailers on the Jordan release dates 2016. These are merely predicts, but at least a few of these sneakers may just end up being up for grabs next year.
