Jordan Brand & Tropy Room Will Release An Air Jordan 5 Pack In 2019

It seems that three of next year‘s Air Jordan releases 2019 are going to be collaboratively designed by Jordan Brand and Trophy Room. For those who don’t know, Trophy Room is the boutique that Michael Jordan’s younger son Marcus Jordan opened back on May 23rd, 2016. It is located inside the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Considering Marcus Jordan’s obvious close connection with Jordan Brand, it was only natural that the boutique would be featuring many different Air Jordan PE pairs. In fact, Marcus Jordan even teamed up with Jordan Brand for a special Air Jordan release that exclusively debuted at Trophy Room’s grand opening.

The Air Jordan 4 NRG WMNS “Hot Punch” Features Patent Leather

After a long time, an upcoming Air Jordan 4 colorway that will join next year’s Air Jordan releases 2019 will be featuring patent leather. When it comes to the sneaker models from Jordan Brand’s signature line, patent leather is typically associated with the Air Jordan 11 since its mudguard overlays are made up of the glossy material. The Air Jordan 11 was the first model from Jordan Brand to feature patent leather as a signature element. Of course, this does not mean that patent leather has not appeared on other Air Jordan models in the past. In fact, even the Air Jordan 4 has featured patent leather before.

It seems a brand new, unnamed colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is going to among Jordan Brand‘s Air Jordan releases 2019. It cannot be denied that there has been a surplus of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG releases from Jordan Brand in recent times. As of lately, there have also been a number of special and unique ones. These include the Union x Air Jordan 1 colorways and the SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 that will be releasing at the 2018 Art Basel. The Air Jordan 1 colorway featured here may not look unique at first glance, but it features one never-before-seen detail.

This Air Jordan 1 “UNC Patent” Will Debut In February 2019

Jordan Brand seems to have once again drawn inspiration from Michael Jordan‘s Alma mater for one of next year’s Air Jordan releases 2019. Of course, this is not the first time that an Air Jordan 1 colorway has been inspired by the North Carolina Tar Heels. In fact, the OFFWHITE x Air Jordan 1UNC” made its retail debut earlier this year, on June 19th, at a price of $190. The Air Jordan 1 has also featured patent leather in the past. However, it is after quite a long time that Jordan Brand will be releasing a premium Air Jordan 1 rendition completely made up of patent leather.

Aleali May’s Air Jordan 6 “Millennial Pink” Will Debut In March 2019

Aleali May‘s latest sneaker colorway, designed in collaboration with Jordan Brand, will be among next year’s Air Jordan releases 2019. Instead of playing with Barbies, Aleali May was more interested in Air Jordan sneakers when growing up during in early ‘90s in South Central Los Angeles. She was in elementary school when she was introduced to sneaker culture after receiving an Air Jordan 12 from her uncle. As a designer, influencer, model and stylist, she is credited for ushering the age of women’s exclusive sneakers. This year, Aleali also became the first female to collaborate with Jordan Brand and design her own colorway of the iconic Air Jordan 1.

2019’s Air Jordan 5 “Laney” Is Inspired By Michael Jordan’s High School

Emsley A. Laney High School provides the inspiration for one of next year’s most anticipated Air Jordan releases 2019. In case you are wondering, it is the high school where Michael Jordan studied and was the star of its junior varsity basketball team. It was around that time that he rose to prominence, despite almost not making the cut for the team back during the 1978-79 season. This is not the first time that Michael Jordan’s alma mater is serving as inspiration for an Air Jordan colorway. This is actually not even the first time that the colors of Laney High School are appearing on the Air Jordan 5.
