While Jordanheads keep their hopes high for a lot of things, one thing they are likely not expecting is the Jordan release dates 2016 of an Air Jordan 3 to take place, considering that the model was discontinued. Yet someone now owns a fresh pair of the classic, coveted Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” and that person is Victor Nguyen-Long, who was Nike’s Digital Brand Manage until he recently quit. It is unclear why Victor resigned from his position at Nike, but the Swoosh decided to bid him farewell with a memorable farewell gift that is sure to make many Jordanheads envious.
Many sneakerheads are perhaps wondering why out of countless sneakers Nike decided to whip up a fresh, unique pair of the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” for Victor. It turns out that Victor had tried hard several years to cop a pair of this particular Air Jordan 3 coloray but never managed to unfortunately. Luckily, as a means of saying goodbye, Nike apparently thought that it was about time that he added the sneaker to his collection and not just any pair, but a special one-of-one version. According to Victor himself, the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” were the “ones that got away,” although not anymore.
It is obvious that Victor was very like quite a hardworking employee when he was working for Nike, no wonder the Swoosh decide to thank him for his service in such a manner. Nike not merely gifted him the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement,” itself but he also received a custom, Black box containing the sneakers. The top of the box sports a custom Gold Wings branding with Victor’s initials “VNL” on it, which are also featured on Wings logo that appears on the sneakers.
Since it is implausible that Jordan Brand might bring back the Air Jordan 3 this year, the Jordan release 2016 of another Air Jordan 3 is going to take place. Moreover, it is also unlikely that Victor is going to want to part from his pair, so all Jordanheads can do is admire it from afar.
