It has been quite a while since a brand new or returning Air Jordan 10 colorway has joining this year’s Air Jordan releases 2017. While the Air Jordan 10 GS “Maya Moore” did make its retail debut on September 30th, alongside the Air Jordan 1 High GS “Maya Moore,” it was a release exclusively for the small-footed sneakerheads. So far, it does not seem like Jordan Brand has any plans of dropping further Air Jordan 10 releases before 2017 comes to an end. However, reports do suggest that there are going to be three different Air Jordan 10 releases spread out across 2018.
Apparently, the foremost of those releases will be the returning Air Jordan 10 “Dark Shadow.” The Air Jordan 10 “Dark Shadow originally made its retail debut back in November 1994. Unlike other Air Jordan 10 colorways of that time, the colorway originally featured leather and nubuck uppers dressed up in a combination of Black, Shadow Grey and White. Furthermore, the “Jumpman” branding on its heels and outsoles was covered in Red. That was not the last time the Air Jordan 10 “Dark Shadow” was available because Jordan Brand brought it back once again a part of 2008’s Countdown Package, accompanied by the Air Jordan 13.
The second Air Jordan 10 colorway, which will be joining the Air Jordan releases 2018, is similar to the “Dark Shadow” because of its monochrome color scheme. Dubbed “Cool Grey,” it is almost a tonal colorway with Cool Grey-colored uppers with contrasting Black-colored accents. Last but not least, apparently Jordan Brand is also bringing back the Air Jordan 10 “Steel” in 2018. It is also a colorway that originally debuted back in 1994 and then made a comeback in 2013, so it will be returning for the second time next year. This simple colorway is dressed up in a combination Black and Light Steel Grey.
The Air Jordan 10 “Cool Grey” might end up being the first to arrive at retailers, rumored to join January’s Jordan releases 2018. The Air Jordan “Steel Grey” will make its second comeback in Summer 2018 and the Air Jordan 10 “Dark Shadow” will reportedly return once again in April 2018. Moreover, all three of these Air Jordan 10 releases will likely retail at the same price, i.e. $190.
