The Air Jordan 11Lab4, which utilized the Air Jordan 4 as the main canvas, made a successful retail debut on April 25th. However, that was not the last appearance of the Air Jordan 4 in Jordan Brand’s “Lab Series” since the model has once again been combined with elements borrowed from another signature silhouette, namely the Air Jordan 3. Not only has one of the upcoming Jordan release dates 2015 been confirmed for the retail debut of this Air Jordan 3Lab4 iteration, but new photos of the hybrid sneaker have also popped up ever since it surfaced back in March.
Many devoted Jordanheads regard the Air Jordan 3 and the Air Jordan 4 as two of the finest Air Jordan sneakers in history and they also happen to be the first two Air Jordan models designed by Tinker Hatfield. In fact, many of these sneaker collectors are so obsessed with these two Air Jordan silhouettes that they only look forward to copping colorways of the Jordan 3 and 4. Now they will be able to lace up in a hybrid pair that is a combination of the best elements of both those models.
The Air Jordan 3Lab4 utilizes the Air Jordan 4 as its base, which is dressed up in an ominous, sleek Black tonal leather and synthetic materials. Elements that have been borrowed from the Air Jordan 3 include the Cement/Elephant print patterned overlays features around the ankles, toebox and over the eyelets. The upper of this sneaker rests atop a solid Black sole unit, which contains an air bubble unit, while distinct lacing component borrowed from the Air Jordan 4 is covered in Infrared 23.
Jordan Brand’s releases from their “Lab Series” do not cease to impress and surprise. Such is the case with this Air Jordan 3Lab4 hybrid sneaker as well that Jordanheads are likely going to grab when it arrives at retailers on one of the upcoming Jordan release dates 2015, which has not yet been confirmed.
