So far, Jordan Brand has achieved plenty of success ever since their entrance into the luxury desinger sneaker market with the release of extremely simple colorways of the Jordan Shine, including the initial all-black and all-red ones. Here, 23 is Back readers can see this green colorway of these premium woven kicks on the feet of Michael Jordan himself. However, that does not mean that this “Green/Vachetta Tan” colorway of the Air Jordan Shine will not be hitting the shelves, rather one of the upcoming 2014 Jordan release dates is likely to be attached to it.
Michael Jordan was at Solefly, the Miami-based sneaker boutique that collaborated with Jordan Brand for the release of the limited-edition Solefly x Air Jordan III, when he was spotted wearing this Jordan Shine pair. Carlos Prieto, the man who owns Solefly, also happens to be the brother-in-law of Michael Jordan.
Just like its previous iterations, this latest Jordan Shine sneaker also keeps everything relatively simple. For the most part, this latest colorway offers crisp, subtle neutrality and a monochromatic upper-inner lining-sole combination. Moreover, this new jordans perfectly blends color and contrast. The woven premium leather construction of the upper is dressed in green and the luxe leather sockliner is dressed in Vachetta Tan. Beneath the monochromatic upper lies a classic, clean white sole inspired from the Air Jordan 1.
23 is Back readers may find it hard to digest the fact that they may have to spend $400 in order to cop this sneaker. However, before they even start saving, they should first pray that this sneaker does not turn out to be an exclusive one-of-one pair designed just for Michael Jordan. Initially, the Jordan Shine silhouette itself was believed to be a limited model because of its luxury aesthetic and outrageous price. Fortunately, the Air Jordan Shine “Green/Vachetta Tan” will probably be released on one of the future Jordan release dates 2014.
