Based on projections of the 2017 NBA Draft, Markelle Fultz is currently the leading and topmost candidate to be the No. 1 consensus pick. In fact, he has already started preparing for the process. With the 2017 NBA Draft Lottery, Markelle claims that it does not matter to him where he will end up. Apparently, he he does not “look too far ahead.” All he seems to want is to keep playing basketball. Even though Markelle has not even been drafted yet, he was recently spotted rocking some exclusive kicks. More specifically, he was spotted laced up in a never-before-seen Air Jordan 4 PE at recent Jordan Brand Classic.
With Markelle leading, there are several other guards whose names are not far behind, including De’Aaron, Dennis Smith Jr., Frank Ntilikina, Lonzo Ball and Malik Monk. Based on several instances of the NBA mock draft 2017, the likelihood of Markelle Fultz ending up as a member of Philadelphia 76ers roster seems fairly large. Of course, there is no possible way of accurately knowing what team Markelle Fultz will actually get drafted, but the prediction of these mock drafts could turn out to be true. Currently, the 76ers have the 4-best odds to be the lottery winner and almost a 12% chance of their selection coming up at the top.
As mentioned earlier, Markelle Fultz was at the recent Jordan Brand Classic and he was spotted laced up in a never-before-seen Air Jordan 4 colorway. The Air Jordan 4 pair he was wearing appeared to be dressed up in the colors of the current basketball team he is a part of, the Washington Huskies. The Air Jordan 4 pair in question has predominantly clean White uppers made up of tumbled leather, while Purple-colored detailing can be spotted throughout. Judging from the photos shared on Instagram by @geminikeez, its tongues feature “#F2G,” which is a hashtag that Markelle has frequently used.
There might be possibility that Markelle Fultz may rock these sneakers again after getting drafted and perhaps he may even sign with Jordan Brand some day. However, it is uncertain if the Air Jordan 4 iteration he wore will ever make it to retailers, especially if it is a one-of-one pair designed by a sneaker customizer.
