Mache Customs Draws Inspiration From Mr. Potato Head For This Air Jordan 11

Mache Customs, the renowned sneaker custoomizer who has been customizing sneakers since 2004, has designed custom sneakers for up to two WWE personnel as of lately. While Shane McMahon had already received numerous exclusive sneakers directly from Jordan Brand, Mache Customs also designed a custom White and Green Air Jordan 1 pair for him. Recently, Enzo Amore himself approached Mache Customs to whip up a customized sneaker for him to wear during his “Money In The Bank” pay-per-view event, and it turned out to be a special Air Jordan 14 Low. Mache’s latest custom sneaker is not WWE-related; rather it resembles Mr. Potato Head.

For those who do not know, Mr. Potato Head is among the supporting characters that have starred in Toy Story animated films by Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures. There is also a toy by Playskool of the same name, upon which this character is based. He looks quite like Humpty Dumpty would and is known for having a crusty and temperamental personality. While Mache Customs could not possibly translate that into a sneaker, it seems that he has done a splendid job of mimicking the appearance and color scheme of the character.

Some sneakerheads would assume that Mache Customs should have perhaps drawn inspiration from Buzz Lightyear or Woody, who are technically the protagonists of the Toy Story series. However, he picked Mr. Potato Head and much like the character, the uppers of this sneaker are almost entirely dressed up in a Light Brown hue. A Pink overlay with a Mr. Potato Head illustration can be spotted over the ankles, while the inner linings are covered in Black. A plain White hue covers both the laces and the midsoles, while this custom sneaker is equipped with Blue outsoles. Fans of the Toy Story films are likely wishing they could cop and rock a pair, too bad that it is a one-of-one, customized version.
