It seems that another Trophy Room x Jordan Brand exclusive might be on its way to joining this year’s upcoming Jordan releases 2017. The previous collaboration between Jordan Brand and Trophy Room resulted in the creation of the Air Jordan 16 “French Blue.” The sneaker was exclusively available in limited quantities at a Trophy Room Pop-Up Event. Sneakerheads had to show up at TIER Nightclub in Orlando, Florida to receive a numbered wristband in order to be able to cop a pair. This time, it seems that the Air Jordan 17 has been chosen as the model for the latest collaboration between Jordan Brand and Trophy Room.
Marcus Jordan even celebrated the three month anniversary of Trophy Room by collaborating with his father’s brand. For this particular collaboration, Jordan Brand and Trophy Room together worked on a brand new colorway of the lifestyle model, the Air Jordan Reveal. The iteration could have easily been mistaken for an Oregon Ducks PE because of its color scheme. It was actually inspired by the Rio Olympics, so it featured mesh uppers were predominantly dressed up in Black, with Green- and Yellow-colored detailing throughout. It actually became available on August 27th, 2016 at Trophy Room alongside a brand new colorway of the Jordan Slide sandals.
The photo seen above is of the actual Trophy Room x Air Jordan 17 and it was Mars Blackmon Jr who shared that photo on his official Instagram account (@sneakerbox_slue). So far, specific details about this latest Jordan Brand and Trophy Room exclusive collaboration are scarce. All that is obvious at the moment, as can be seen, is that this sneaker appears to be almost entirely dressed up in Grey, but Gold-colored detailing can also be spotted, making it look premium. More specifically, the Gold is visible over its inner lining and midsoles.
The above seen above, the one with the emojis, was actually posted on the Trophy Room Snapchat account, which means that this sneaker will likely be joining upcoming Jordan releases 2017. Of course, sneakerheads will just have to wait for now, until some more details about the release of this Trophy Room x Air Jordan 17 iteration pop up online.
