It was back in May 2015 when Jordan Brand had first decided to spread its wings farther within the lifestyle niche and that was when the very first Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” iteration had been unveiled. Drawing its attention away from the more performance-related features of the Air Jordan 1, Jordan Brand had instead focused upon making the silhouette more lavish with elements like synthetic snakeskin uppers and using real 24K gold for certain details. The first Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” iteration also featured a Metallic Gold pendant-like “Wings” logo. It turns out that Jordan Brand has whipped up another Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” and it could arrive soon.
Jordan Brand’s first Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” iteration had all-Black synthetic snakeskin uppers and much like its “Wings” branding, it also sports “Mj23” and “1985” in the same Gold Medallion form as well. Jordan Brand had dropped this sneaker on June 20th of last year and as sneakerheads have come to expect from these releases, its retail price had been $400. One of the more recent Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” releases had been that of the “Baroque Brown” colorway, which also retailed at the same price but made its retail debut on October 31st and had been designed in celebration of Jordan Brand’s 30th anniversary.
Someone out there already owns the latest Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” rendition, even though it has not officially hit the shelves yet. That someone happens to be Dez Bryant and the Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” pair was spotted in the photo he had shared of his recent sneaker haul. However, Instagram user @bigktheboss has also posted new photos of the sneaker. This time it is apparently the low-top variation of the model and its uppers appear to be predominantly dressed up in Metallic Silver, while White makes an appearance over the inner linings and soles.
Additionally, this Air Jordan 1 Low “Pinnacle” also appears to be equipped with Grey-colored waxed laces, “Nike Air” patches on the tongues and 3M detailing. Despite the lack of release details, it seems the sneaker will arrive at retailers in a special box lined with gold foiled paper and along with a solid gold Jumpman-shaped hangtag.
