In these recent months, Justin Timberlake has become one of Jordan Brand’s leading collaborators and endorsers from the music industry. It all kicked off with Justin Timberlake’s live performance at the Super Bowl LII halftime show. While the show itself was deemed underwhelming, it quickly became known that he was laced up in a variation of this year’s Air Jordan 3 “Tinker,” which was dubbed “JTH.” While it did end up joining earlier Air Jordan releases 2018, he also received three all-Red “Legends Of The Summer” PEs from Jordan Brand too. In fact, he was recently spotted rocking a different version of the recent Air Jordan 3 “Quai 54.”
Like every summer, Jordan Brand whipped up special releases in celebration of the Quai 54 worldwide streetball tournament that they sponsor. These releases included an Air Jordan 3, a Jordan Future and a Jordan Why Not Zer0.1. The Jordan Future and Why Not Zer0.1 already hit the shelves on June 30th, while the Air Jordan 3 “Quai 54” has just made its retail debut on July 7th at a price of $190. The Air Jordan 3 “Quai 54” has nearly all-Black uppers, including its elephant print overlays. It also features neon Blue-, Green- and Pink-colored accents, and is equipped with icy, translucent neon Blue-colored outsoles.
The pair that Justin Timberlake was wearing while performing at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris as a part of his “Man Of The Woods” tour is actually a Friends and Family edition. So it obviously will not be joining upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018. Judging from these other two photo shared by DJ Clark Kent (@djclearkkent) on Instagram, even he has a pair. As can be seen, this variation looks almost like the Air Jordan 3 “Quai 54” that recently arrived at retailers. The only exception is that it has plain all-White uppers. The multi-colored detailing and the color of the soles are the same.
