23 is Back readers and Jordan heads all over the world have been having a Spiz’ike summer. Apart from the original Jordan Spizike colorway that has been retroed, this GS “Sport Blue” version also made its retail debut on the same date. Obviously, since these are GS sneakers, so they are for kids and could not be regarded as a nostalgic pair. Alas, adult Jordan heads will have to other 2014 and 2015 Jordan release dates that have already been announced.
As far as “Sport Blue” Jordans that have been released this summer are concerned, this pair is not exactly the star of the show, but it is definitely a treat for small-footed Jordan heads. During this weekend, the Spiz’ike silhouette will also be released in other renditions, such as the OG colorway and the red leather Jordan 6.
A nice white leather base is featured by this Air Jordan Spiz’ike “Sport Blue” with “Elephant” print panels on the heel and toe box. The wing sports traces of the “Cement” print while the eyestay, lining, and the outsole are in sport blue. The midsole is in black and sport blue, with sport blue speckles on the black, and a decent amount of color balance is provided by the black tongue.
This subtle GS colorway of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike is the latest addition to this year’s Grade School line-up from Jordan Brand. Considering the fact that the Back-To-School season is approaching, this sneaker boasts all of the crucial design aspects, especially the concrete/elephant accents and the Wolf Grey speckled overlay. No wonder, all the adult sneaker aficionados are going to be jealous about this classic Jordan mash-up.

As for those who will not be able to fit their feet into this pair, they still have a chance to cop AJs like the AJ 6 “History of Jordan,” AJ Spiz’ike OG, and the AJ Future “Bred”.
