The upcoming basketball season will soon kick off. In the meantime, preseason activities are underway and college basketball teams are going all out with their recruitment efforts on the court. The University of North Carolina is also getting ready for its “Late Night With Roy” event that takes place every year. 2016’s event will be hosted by Jesse Holley, who was a member of the Tar Heels men’s basketball team when they won the National Championship. The University of North Carolina certainly have their hands full, but apparently they also had the time to redesign their locker room to feature a special, complete Air Jordan collection.
As a part of their 2017 class, the University of Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball team has managed to recruit Sterling Manley, who has verbally committed to the team based on a recent tweet. It is obvious that over the next couple of weeks, numerous visitors will be making their way to the University of North Carolina. Once UNC’s “Late Night With Roy” event has passed, basketball season will also officially start in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with a friendly game between the university’s athletes and coaches. With the event scheduled to take place soon, perhaps that is why the university’s lock room was redesigned.
As a part of their locker room’s new redesigned space, the University of North Carolina has included a very jaw-dropping and splendid Air Jordan collection. By now, sneakerheads are likely aware of the fact that Michael Jordan used to study at the university and play for the Tar Heels. It is a result of this historic and memorable connection that the university continues to receive the most outstanding, exclusive sneakers. The photos accompanying this post are of the Air Jordan Retro “UNC” Collection, which consists of all of the signature Air Jordan models to date, including the Air Jordan 31, all of which are dressed up in UNC’s Carolina Blue/White color scheme.
