Jordan Brand’s Spring 2018 Retro Collection Includes Brand New & Returning Classic Colorways

January not only marked the beginning of the new year but also the beginning of Spring 2018. To officially showcase their upcoming Jordan releases 2018 for Spring, Jordan Brand set up a popup shop at Spring Studios in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City.

For this collection, Jordan Brand seems to be bringing back colorways from their vault that have never arrived at retailers until now, while also introduction re-imagined variations of classic colorways. 2018 also marks the 23rd anniversary of the Air Jordan 10, so Jordan Brand has also whipped up two special colorways of the model as well. Overall, Jordan Brand’s Spring 2018 Retro Collection includes the following:

Air Jordan 1 Retro High “Bred Toe” & “Game Royal:  Both of these are re-imaginations of classic colorways of the Air Jordan 1 from 1985. The “Bred Toe” is also being referred to as “Gym Red” and the “Game Royal” is also being referred to as “Alternate Royal.”

Air Jordan 9 “All-Star” & “PE”: The Air Jordan 9 “All-Star” will be joining this year’s “City Of Flight” series. The Air Jordan 9 “PE,” also being referred to as the “Bred” colorway, was actually once a Player Exclusive iteration that never hit the shelves until now.

Air Jordan 10Cool Grey” & “I’m Back”: The Air Jordan 10 “Cool Grey” may seem like a simple, tonal colorway, but its colorful outsoles feature the early achievements from Michael Jordan’s career. Similarly, the Air Jordan 10 “I’m Back” is a tribute to that surprising moment back in 1995 when Michael Jordan made a comeback to basketball.

Air Jordan 13 “Hyper Royal” & “Olive: The Air Jordan 13 “Hyper Royal” was once gifted only to members of the Jordan Brand family, so it will debut for the very first time this year. The Air Jordan 13 “Olive” actually draws inspiration from the Air Jordan 9 “Olive.”

Air Jordan 18 “Royal”: This is the first retro colorway of the Air Jordan 18, which was the model that Michael Jordan wore during the final year of his NBA career and has never returned ever since, until now.

Air Jordan 32Pure Platinum: The latest signature Air Jordan model joins this collection in a brand new colorway.

Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 “Two Way”: Many sneakerheads may not recognize this silhouette. This is actually the signature shoe of Russell Westbrook and this is its latest colorway.

Conclusion

Even though these Spring Air Jordan releases 2018 are being referred to as a collection, each of them will be making their respective retail debuts on different dates.

  • The Air Jordan 1 “Bred Toe” or “Gym Red” will be available on February 24th at a price of $160.
  • The Air Jordan 1 “Alternate Royal” or “Game Royal” will be available on March 24th at a price of $160.
  • The Air Jordan 9 “All-Star” will be available on February 3rd at a price of $190.
  • The Air Jordan 9 “Bred” or “PE” will be available on March 10th at a price of $190.
