Many sneakerheads probably still feel like the previous year’s Holiday Season went by just recently. Of course, two and a half months have already passed since Jordan Brand dropped their Holiday 2016 retro releases. Rumors have already begun spreading about the Holiday 2017 releases that Jordan Brand intends to drop once December begins nearing. It is being rumored that the lineup may include sneakers like the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cat” and Katrina, Air Jordan 11 “Gym Red” and the Air Jordan 13 “Altitude.” However, it turns out that one of Jordan Brand’s Fall/Winter 2017 releases has also been unveiled, which is the Air Jordan 12 featured here.
Jordan Brand brought back two iconic sneakers from the past for the Holiday 2016 season, which were the Air Jordan 3 OG 88 “True Blue” and the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam.” Not only did both of the sneakers featured retro Nike branding, they were remastered to closely resemble the original construction and molds, with a premium finish. That would explain why the retail price of both the sneakers was $220. It should be obvious that despite the competition that brands like adidas present within the sneaker market, Jordan Brand continues to successfully keep the demand for Air Jordan retro releases high.
Sneakerheads are probably thinking that it is way too early to be unveiling their Fall/Winter 2017 and Holiday 2017 collection. It is true that Jordan Brand is not the one doing the unveiling, but the fact remains that new information and photos have gotten leaked. The Air Jordan 12 featured here is apparently dubbed “Bordeaux.” If that nickname sounds familiar, it is because Jordan Brand dropped the Air Jordan 7 “Bordeaux” back in 2015. The photo above shared on Instagram by @jayzrdead shows the Air Jordan 12 featuring Burgundy-colored leather and nubuck uppers, while its rubber soles appear to be covered in a Cream hue.
That is actually not a photo of the upcoming sneaker itself, rather it is a mere rendering to give sneakerheads an idea of what it may look like. The real appearance of the Air Jordan 12 “Bordeaux” shall remain unknown, at least until an actual photo is leaked or published, but the sneaker will be joining the Fall/Winter Air Jordan releases 2017.
