Jordan Brand has made history with their All-Star edition uniforms because this will be the first time that NBA players will be sporting the “Jumpman” branding on the court on their jerseys. The 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend will begin in a couple of days and the All-Star Game is scheduled to take place on February 18th in Los Angeles at Staples Center. Apparently, has a lot on in store for the upcoming weekend, including a block party, co-creation and collaboration opportunities, a number of unique experiences, and several different worldwide Jordan releases 2018.
As sneakerheads might already be aware, six members of the Jordan Brand family have already been chosen to participate in the 2018 NBA All-Star Game. They include Andre Drummond, Jimmy Butler, Kemba Walker, LaMarcus Aldridge, Russell Westbrook and Victor Oladipo. Furthermore, Victor Oladipo will also be competing in the 2018 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
As mentioned, Jordan Brand will be hosting a Jordan Family Block Party at the Nike East community store in Los Angeles. The public will be able to attend the party on February 17th between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. PT. Attendees will be able to customize products, meet with athletes, take part in on-court experiences and more. Jordan Brand will also be offering first-come, first-served- and RSVP-based experiences at the “Studio 23” store. Last but not least, Jordan Brand has also announced the expansion of the Jordan Wings Community Program into Los Angeles, teaming up with six new partners.
Ultimately though, it all comes down to Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan releases 2018 lined up to hit the shelves over the course of this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend. Foremost, the lineup includes the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement,” which is making a comeback for its 30th anniversary. Also included is an Air Jordan 3 and an Air Jordan 32 colorway, both dubbed “Free Throw Line,” a “City of Flight” and “Two Way” colorway of the Jordan Why Not Zer0.1, and more.
Sneakerheads can expect all of these sneakers and more to be showcased throughout the 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend. However, they will only be available at select retailers that Jordan Brand has partnered with, such as Foot Action, House of Hoops Hollywood and Highland, and also via the Nike SNKRS app.
