It is quite common for Jordan Brand to modify its packaging frequently. So, 23 is Back readers should brace themselves because the packaging has been changed once for the Air Jordan sneakers that will hit the shelves next year. Considering all the Air Jordan releases 2015 that have already been announced and a myriad of others that will arrive in Spring 2015, it only makes sense that JB has decided to drop these new kicks in brand new packaging.
For Jordan heads, including 23 is Back readers, who are not aware yet, 2015 will be marking the 30th Anniversary of Jordan Brand. From looks of it, apparently new premium Air Jordan designs and remastered retros from the past were not enough to commemorate the occasion. Of course, sneaker heads will be more than happy to receive redesigned, premium packaging with their favorite pair of Air Jordan sneakers. This premium box is not only proof of Jordan Brand’s skills at marketing, but is also a nod to Michael Jordan himself.
A black matte finish is featured by this premium new jordans box and there are several gold accents on top of it as well, such as the Jordan Jumpman on the lid, a smaller Jumpman on one side and the iconic “23” on the other. Jordan Brand even designed to redesign the tissue paper, which is usually wrapped around a fresh pair of Air Jordan sneakers, since gold 23s are spread out all over it. Jordan heads, including 23isBack readers, are probably as excited to get their hands on this box as they are to cop one of next year’s Air Jordans.
The arrival of 2015 will mark the periodic release of one remastered Air Jordan retro after another, which includes remastered versions of the Air Jordan 4, 7, and 10. One of the very first Jordan release dates 2015 is January 10, which is when the remastered Air Jordan 4 “Columbia” will hit the shelves.
